About NEEF

More About NEEF.

The North East Economic Forum provides strategic opportunities for key stakeholders to meet to discuss the North East economy. The calendar of events provide opportunities for regional stakeholders to listen to national and international speakers and to discuss these issues at an unprecedented level in the North East.

The Forum is firmly established with a strong reputation both regionally and nationally, and this is demonstrated in the caliber of speakers attracted year on year to the NEEF programme of seminars and conferences. The North East Economic Forum hosts a series of themed seminars throughout the year, culminating in an annual conference towards the end of the year.

The North East Economic Forum has over the past four years looked at identifying key issues relevant to the North East’s economy and attempted to provide innovative approaches to addressing some of these challenges.  Key to the success of the forum has been the ability to the Forum to provide a platform attractive to all three political parties married with figures from business of national and international standing.

NEEF’s Directors are Hugh Morgan-Williams Chairman of Canford Audio, and George Garlick, Chief Executive of Durham County Council.
