Build Back Better; SME Empowerment and Sustainable Recovery in the North East

The event shall take place on Monday 12th July. You can register your interest via Zoom.

This roundtable will explore what is needed to make businesses succeed in the North East and create a sustainable recovery that empowers SMEs. Before the Coronavirus pandemic, the North East of England had 163,000 private sector businesses, the fewest of any English region, and the lowest business density rate. Building back better in the North East means tackling the structural issues that exist in the region and through this, the North East has the potential to showcase how successful the Government's Build Back Better policy and Levelling Up agenda can be for the country.
